On April 14, the Islamic Center of America hosted military leaders from around the globe for its first "National Defense University." The ICA does not list the names, or even the countries from which the officials hale, saying only that "The guests were international high ranking military officers from countries that have a diplomatic relations [sic] with the United States."
The occasion was an interfaith breakfast to showcase renowned Arab hospitality–and solidify a few friendships in high places along the way.
As is typical of cultural jihad, mosques do all they can to ingratiate themselves with law enforcement and military groups to "educate" them about the "benefits" of shari'a law–and to create personal relationships that they will later use to ensure Muslims are never arrested or indicted when Muslims break our laws.
The ICA, a Shi'a mosque located in Dearborn, claims to be the largest masjid in North America. Like every other mosque, the ICA has ties to terrorist groups, notably Hezbollah, and its imam, Hassan Qazwini, supports honor killings. (Well, he has to. So does the Qur'an–33.61-62, 4.89, 66.9, 9.73, all Medina).
Qazwini hosted Louis Farrakhan at the ICA in 1998, issued a fatwa against TSA body scanners, and is best buddies with the spiritual leader of Hezbollah.

With such a stellar resume, it's no stretch to say that the ICA is led by–and is home to–terrorists–terrorists who host top brass with Middle Eastern hospitality.
Undoubtedly, the show stoppers of this star-studded repast were not the military officers, but a children's spiffy drum ensemble: "Arabic Drummers" from Maples Elementary School in Dearborn. (Maples, which the ICA incorrectly dubs "Maple Elementary", is not to be confused with West Maple Elementary in Bloomfield Hills, a suburb of Detroit.)
Maples is a public school with a Muslim principal located in the heart of the Islamic colony of Dearborn. Report cards are issued in Arabic as well as English.
So perhaps traveling drums proffering Islamic indoctrination shouldn't be all that surprising. It is, however, constitutionally illegal–as are all concessions to shari'a law. Not to mention highly disconcerting that children would be subjected to entertaining terrorists. Arabic Drummers began performing publicly in 2009.
Couldn't ask for cuter kids or more elaborate Islamic costuming. One could, however, ask why a public school in America is promoting Islam under the aegis of a very thinly-veiled "cultural arts" program.
Texans asked that very question when the Mansfield school district tried to impose mandatory Arabic for K-12, courtesy of a federal grant from the U.S Department of Muslim Brotherhood Education. They said no way. NYC parents are apparently not bright enough–or don't care enough–to ask that same question. And thus language arts becomes the Trojan Horse for cultural jihad.
Maples Elementary Mdrasa Principle, Fatme Faraj.
Islam is whatever it needs to be in order to inject itself into a geographic area: a military force, a religion, a political organization, and, in its 21st century shape-shifting reincarnation, an "arts and culture" experience. If the people seek multiculturalism, then Islam will be the purveyor of that "exotic" fare Western zombie liberals crave.
The drum corps is busy these days, performing at seemingly every cultural, interfaith, civic, and Islamic event throughout the Detroit area.
It's shocking to see how many Muslim groups and events there are in Dearborn alone–and it's only a partial list.
But who better for Islamic PR than a group of 13 adorable kids? How could anyone dare to oppose that? Thus children are manipulated as a Teflon shield.
It's abundantly clear that Principal Faraj–and apparently everyone else associated with Maples Elementary–works tirelessly to combine mosque and state, at taxpayers' expense. But Faraj is not the first Muslim to recognize the efficacy of cultural jihad.
From the Muslim Brotherhood classic Milestones:
" . . . there are two kinds of culture; the Islamic culture, which is based on the Islamic concept, and the jahili culture . . ." (Loca 1787)–i.e. everything that is not Islamic. A more direct translation of "jahili" is "ignorant", which is how Muslims are taught to view the non-Islamic world.

"An Explanatory Memorandum," an internal Muslim Brotherhood document outlining the plan for Islamic domination in North America, offers specific insight on how this transformation from a Christian nation to an Islamic one will take place. The action plan dates to 1991 and was found by the FBI when they raided the home of a terrorist in Virginia in 2004.
It enumerates several stages of MB "activism" in the U.S. The fifth stage, after building mosques and Islamic centers, is "building the Islamic schools" (p. 6). This process is dramatically accelerated when public schools can be directly converted to mdrasas–religious schools for training students in Islam. Rather than Muslims having to build their own educational system, they can simply infiltrate the existing one–at kuffar expense. All part of the grand "civilization Jihadist operation" (p. 10).
Two decades ago, the MB recognized the potential of using the arts to flood the American public with charming introductions to "Arab culture" (p. 12, 16)–a purloined code name for Islam. I reject such usage. The nomads and city-dwelling tribes of the Arabian Peninsula had a vibrant culture long before Islam appeared. The moniker serves the dual purpose of lightly dismissing all of the Christian Arabs–whose spiritual heritage predates the advent of Muhammad by six hundred years. "Arab culture" is simply not synonymous with Islam.
By all accounts, the MB agenda, even at times cooperating with Shi'a groups for the end goal of global Islamic domination, is progressing well–at an alarming rate. In that same Virginia raid, FBI agents discovered cassette tapes of MB meetings. One in particular outlines a detailed history of the Ikhwan in the United States–including the weapons training program–and the "phases of settlement" yet to be completed. Since the recording was made sometime in the 1980s, those prophetic plans are currently in process, and judging by daily developments, they appear to be right on schedule.
Earlier this year a public high school in Hamtramck, a town ten miles from Dearborn, sponsored a girls-only prom in order to accommodate shari'a law. This is the same town–formerly Polish Catholic–that has been blasting the call to prayer five times daily over loudspeakers for the last 7 years, even though it violates the city's own noise ordinance.
And this is the neighborhood where the Archdiocese of Detroit sold a Catholic church to a group of Bangladeshi Muslims–most of whom are in the U.S. illegally.
(Not to worry–they are sustained by your tax dollars!)
It appears that the growing number of illegal Muslims, with the help of Muslim Brotherhood and Shi'a organizations, will have additional opportunities to push their shari'a crusade by purchasing more Catholic churches in the next few years.
Both Dearborn and Hamtramck are part of the Muslim Detroit conglomeration, an area where "free speech zones" are literally cordoned off and Christians are periodically banned from–and arrested for–distributing copies of the Gospel.
Those who dare to witness at the Arab Festival will likely be arrested by the Muslim Chief of Police or Muslim police officers. They are Muslim first, always. Shari'a first, always.
In the Dearborn School District, the Board of Education includes only one member whose name strongly suggests he is Muslim.
And yet, the other six members of the Board apparently have no problem with the growing entanglement of mosque and state. Which, for Muslims, is no problem at all–since Islam has always combined both religion and politics. As the Muslim Brotherhood puts it, " . . . there is no Islam in a land where Islam is not dominant and where its Shari'ah is not established . . ." (Milestones, Loca 2058). And they'll do whatever it takes in America to make that happen.
