Does the current President of the US think he can order drone-kills of US citizens ON US TERRITORY?

Here's Brennan's "answer" to that question:

I have been a strong proponent oftrying to be as open as possible with these programs as far as ourexplaining what we're doing. What we need to do is optimizetransparency on these issues but at the same time optimize secrecyand the protection of our national security. I don't think thatit's one or the other. It's trying to optimize both of them. And sowhat we need to do is make sure we explain to the American peoplewhat are the thresholds for action, what are the procedures, thepractices, the processes, the approvals, the reviews?

The Office of Legal Counsel advice establishes the legalboundaries within which we can operate. It doesn't mean that weoperate at those...boundaries. And in fact, I think the Americanpeople would be quite pleased to know that we've been verydisciplined, very judicious and we only use these authorities andthese capabilities as a last resort.  --quoted at Reason, HT Hot Air

Got that?  Clear, eh?  Nothing to see here, move along.  POTUS and a few others determine that there's a "threat" from a 'terrorist-sorta-critter' and ..........ka-boom!
